A Free Self-Discovery Reading

The Cube — A Reading of Your Inner Landscape

Close your eyes and six images surface — a desert, a cube, a ladder, a horse, a storm, flowers. None of it is random. What you see is a map of what your spirit is carrying right now. I read it personally from twenty years inside this territory and send it back to you in a couple of days. Not a personality quiz.

What’s Inside

Four working books bound into one volume. Dense, indexed, and built to stay on your desk for years — not read once and shelved.

I.

The Practical Symbol Dictionary

A precision reference, kept deliberately terse. Look up the symbol — get the meaning that actually carries weight — close the book. No padded entries, no philosophical detours, no fluff. Just the lineages that knew what they were doing and the meanings that have held up.

II.

The Essence Quest

A suite of projective and contemplative exercises designed to surface what you actually are underneath your story. The famous Cube Test walked through in full detail — then deeper: archetype mapping, shadow-work prompts, life-script audits, anima/animus dialogues, and dream-symbol cross-referencing. The inner-discovery toolkit, layer by layer.

III.

Mental Maps & the Planes

The architecture of inner space. The maps people have drawn for centuries — Hermetic, Jungian, kabbalistic, indigenous, modern — and how they actually map to lived experience. The planes themselves, what lives on each, and how to move between them with intent rather than as a tourist.

IV.

The Working Craft of Lucid Dreaming

From first awareness to sustained agency. Reality-check protocols that actually work, induction methods compared on their merits, stabilization techniques, dream-control practices — and the harder question: what to do once you’re actually there, lucid, with the whole inner architecture open to you.

Portrait of Shawn McCombs

Shawn McCombs

Programmer · Researcher · Practitioner

I’m a 36-year-old engineer who has spent two decades quietly mapping his own inner territory. My day work is research and development of life-saving technology — manufacturing, project management, programming, applied AI. The career started in cybersecurity as a kid building websites for local businesses; it grew into what it is now. I also run a marketing agency I founded twelve years ago at wemadeitinc.com.

Outside the work bench, I’ve been lucid dreaming for twenty years — the practice that quietly seeded this book. Stage magic, sustained meditation, contemplative encounters with what some traditions call angels, and the harder edges of esoteric practice: poltergeist work, exorcisms, and the in-between states that most modern writing on consciousness goes out of its way to avoid.

The Magicians Atlas is the book I wish had existed when I started — a practical, no-fluff working tool from someone who lives in both the engineering rigor of programming and the lived experience of the inner planes. Not one or the other.
